Benchmarks
GRIEF

I would estimate that for every person who died as part of the Covis Pandemic there could be as many as 4 or 5  others who will grieve their loss. That makes for a very large number of tears, it would be an ocean of tears. So why has there not been any serious considerations of finding or sharing commpassionate resources to help these grieving souls?

My personal journey through the grief realm has been difficult starting with the discovery that most medical insurance providers do not consider it a priority for their clients well being. This leaves most of us with the added challenge of researching and finding your own answers and guidance. If you are well educated and informed with ample resources you can hire specialists. But this is not going to be the case for most of the pandemic victims.

Here are a few possibilities I have discovered.

Independant Research Sources

My first personal discovery was a bookshelf of work written by many competent authors and grievers from personal experiences about their journeies and methods. Here is a starting point.

EMDR Therapy Source

There are many psychologist and therapists who specialize and are competent in helping with grief issues. The main consideration is selecting the right one you want to work with and the technique your comfortable with. I found the most effective was EMDR that has had a very successful history.

Religious Sources

Our local churches and religious leaders are a valuable resource for many because of the availability and affordability. They do offer however a very selective approach and perspective.
